Training

Lisa is an experienced and passionate trainer who is highly skilled at engaging participants. She is enthusiastic about assisting others to learn and to build on their skills in caring for and working with children, families and Communities. Lisa presents her training with energy and enthusiasm, utilising a range of different modalities to assist participants to learn. Lisa specialises in providing training about understanding trauma and attachment difficulties in children and how this can impact on relationships.

Lisa has provided extensive training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and in particular delivering the “Yarning up on trauma training”. This has enabled Lisa to develop an understanding of providing culturally respectful conversations with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and ensuring material is presented in a cultural sensitive way.
